We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Your content (excluding credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted across networks. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, sell, or exploit any part of the Service without express written permission.
We are not liable for failure to perform any obligation under these Terms if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to power outages, load shedding, strikes, governmental actions, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
We reserve the right to monitor website activity. Security measures including SSL encryption are implemented, and payments processed via Payfast, Payflex, and BobPay are handled securely by their platforms.

Information on this site is provided for general reference and may not always be accurate, complete, or current. Historical information is for reference only. We reserve the right to modify content at any time without obligation to update.

Products and services may be limited in quantity and are subject to return or exchange in line with our Return Policy. Product images are for illustrative purposes only. We reserve the right to limit sales per customer, region, or jurisdiction.
8. Payments
Payments may be made via Visa, Mastercard, direct bank transfer and Yoco payment. Online card transactions are securely processed by our payment partners. VX3D does not store card details. Transactions may be refused if deemed suspicious or fraudulent.
9. Billing and Account Accuracy
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion. You agree to provide accurate, current billing and contact information and to promptly update your account details where required.
10. User Comments and Submissions
Any submissions (suggestions, plans, ideas, or content) sent to VX3D may be used without restriction. We are not obligated to maintain confidentiality, compensate, or respond. You agree not to post content that violates any third-party rights.
11. Errors and Omissions
Occasionally, inaccuracies may occur in pricing, product descriptions, promotions, or availability. We reserve the right to correct errors and cancel orders where necessary.
12. Prohibited Uses
You are prohibited from using this site or its content for unlawful purposes, including but not limited to:
Violating intellectual property rights
Transmitting malware or harmful code
Harassment or discrimination
False or misleading submissions

18. Governing Law

South African courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms.
19. Custom Design Work & Intellectual Property
All custom 3D models, CAD files, and digital designs created by VX3D remain our intellectual property unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
Design Fees
A flat design fee of R100 applies to all custom design requests (minimum charge).
Complex or time-intensive designs may incur additional charges at R250 per hour, quoted upfront where applicable.
Scope of Rights Granted
Design fees cover only the creation and use of the physical printed item.
Customers do not automatically receive ownership of digital design files (STL, CAD, etc.).
VX3D retains all rights unless formally transferred in writing.
Purchasing IP or Design Files
If you wish to acquire ownership of digital files or IP, this must be arranged via custom quotation based on:
Design complexity
Reusability potential
Intended commercial use
A written agreement and full payment are required before any IP transfer.
Reuse & Exclusivity
We reserve the right to reuse, modify, or resell designs unless:
A formal exclusivity agreement is signed
A specific ownership fee is paid
Clients are responsible for ensuring submitted materials do not infringe third-party IP rights.
20. Licensing Option
Where applicable, VX3D may offer a license-to-use for digital designs. This license:
Is non-exclusive and non-transferable
Applies only to agreed-upon uses
Does not imply ownership transfer
Licenses will be documented and priced according to scope and use.
21. Production, Turnaround & Delivery
Estimated production and delivery timelines will be communicated upon quotation. Delays may occur due to load shedding, supplier issues, equipment downtime, or other external factors. VX3D is not liable for delays beyond our control.
22. 3D Printed Parts Disclaimer
IMPORTANT NOTICE – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
General Limitations
3D printed parts inherently involve variability in strength, accuracy, material properties, and surface finish. These parts are not equivalent to injection-moulded or machined components.
No Guarantee of Strength or Durability
We cannot guarantee mechanical strength, longevity, or suitability for specific applications. Parts may contain unseen internal defects.
Safety and High-Risk Applications
VX3D products must NOT be used in critical or safety-related applications, including but not limited to:
Structural or load-bearing components
Safety equipment
Medical devices
Automotive or aerospace components
Environmental Factors
Materials may degrade due to heat, UV exposure, moisture, chemicals, or mechanical stress.
Dimensional Accuracy
Minor dimensional deviations are normal due to printer calibration, material shrinkage, and design complexity.
Food Safety Warning
3D printed parts are NOT food-safe, even if made from materials marketed as food-safe.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are fully responsible for determining product suitability.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, VX3D shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of printed parts.
23. Returns & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our products, refunds are only issued for defective or incorrect items reported within 7 days of receipt.
Design fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.
Replacement prints may be offered at our discretion.
Note: This policy applies to 3D printed products only. Returns on printers, accessories, or consumables are governed by a separate Returns Policy.
24. Privacy, Cookies, and Data Handling
We collect personal and billing information only for order processing and communication. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
